Collaborations

The East Contra Costa Community Alliance, or ECCCA, is a collaborative of nonprofits dedicated to strengthening policies, services, and resources in East Contra Costa. ECCCA is a collaborative of nonprofits dedicated to strengthening policies, services, and resources in East County. The mission is to improve the quality of life of all residents in East Contra Costa by recognizing the assets of community members, elevating their voices, and building a strong partnership with key stakeholders. People Who Care sits on the Steering Committee along with SparkPoint Contra Costa, Rubicon Programs, White Pony Express, Monument Impact, Village Community Resource Center, First 5, Family Justice Center, Loaves and Fishes, and Contra Costa Crisis Center.

At People Who Care, we understand the importance of providing comprehensive support to job seekers in Contra Costa County. That's why we have established a strong collaboration with Opportunity Junction, a trusted organization dedicated to empowering individuals through training and placement assistance. Through our partnership, we refer our clients to Opportunity Junction's various programs such as the Administrative Careers Training Program, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training, Medical Assistant (MA) Training, and Career Counseling & Placement Assistance. By working together, we are not only helping individuals gain valuable skills and confidence but also contributing to the overall strength of families and the community as a whole. At People Who Care, we are committed to empowering individuals in our community to achieve sustainable employment and career success. That's why we have partnered with Civicorps. Through our collaboration, we refer our clients to Civicorps' Job Training & Certifications program, which offers two distinct paths: Environmental Management and Recycling. By working together, we are not only helping individuals gain essential skills and certifications but also contributing to the betterment of our community and environment.
